Our fish nutrition researchers aim to provide good quality and highly digestible protein sources for your farmed fish. We use soy protein concentrate with high protein and amino acids. Fishmeal is another great protein source that we use at Golden Seed because of its balanced amino acid profile.
The ingredients in the Golden Seed formula are derived from plant and animal sources with a premium nutritional composition to deliver quality sinking and floating aquatics.
The main source of dietary protein in our formula is fish meal. We also use plant-based protein sources such as soy protein and corn gluten.
Among the plant protein materials, soybean meal (SBM) is the most nutritious plant material used in feeding farmed fish.
It has a balanced amino acid profile and is resistant to oxidation and spoilage. SBM is free from organisms such as fungi, viruses and bacteria while being highly digestible
Fish feed contains different raw materials with different characteristics and origins. High demands on the quality of raw materials require a complete understanding of the performance of each raw material in fish feed – down to the fish species level.
Raw materials are tested in feeding trials for nutrient digestibility as well as their effects on fish growth and health.
At Aqua Research Group, we are constantly screening and testing new raw materials in our fish feed and eventually adding them to our portfolio of raw materials.
